VitaFast Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) is an enzymatic test in microtiter plate format for the quantitative determination of vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) in food, pharmaceutical products and other sample materials.

Additionally L-dehydroascorbic acid can be detected. The kit contains all required reagents including the L-ascorbic acid standard for the standard curve. 50 reactions (plus four calibration curves) can be carried out. A microtiter plate photometer (550 - 570 nm) is necessary for reading the results. The limit of detection and the limit of quantification of the VitaFast® Vitamin C test is 7.8 mg/100g (ml). The recovery rate ranges between 95 - 105%.

How can researchers rapidly resolve the miRNA profile of a single cell?

Agricultural Sciences / Nutrition & Food Sciences ...

Profiling overall microRNA (miRNA) expression in a heterogeneous sample has been the status quo in miRNA research. Although important for understanding the general biology of a system, bulk analysis doesn’t provide information on the individual influence of cell subtypes. This begs the question: how can we effectively profile miRNA from just one cell?
