How can researchers rapidly resolve the miRNA profile of a single cell?
Cell Biology
March 13, 2017Profiling overall microRNA (miRNA) expression in a heterogeneous sample has been the status quo in miRNA research. Although important for understanding the general biology of a system, bulk analysis doesn’t provide information on the individual influence of cell subtypes. This begs the question: how can we effectively profile miRNA from just one cell?
In a newly-released application note, we tested a streamlined end-to-end workflow for miRNA analysis of single cells – starting from isolation of viable single cells, to universal miRNA cDNA synthesis and preamplification, and finally, miRNA profiling and data analysis.
Follow the complete workflow from single-cell isolation to miRNA analysis and download the application note.
