New NANOCOLOR Ozone

New NANOCOLOR Ozone

February 02, 2016

In contrast to the NANOCOLOR Chlorine/Ozone tube test, the new standard test is selective for ozone. The determination of ozone can be performed even in the presence of chlorine (no disturbing effect of chlorine up to 3 mg/L Cl2).

The photometric determination of ozone is based on blue indigo trisulfonate. Ozone discolors the indigo compound. The discoloration of the blue dye is determined photometrically. Tis determination can be done in rectangular cells or in round tubes.

Thermometric titration-can you feel the heat?

Thermometric titration-can you feel the heat?

Thermometric titration is fast, simple to use, rugged, versatile and unique.
In thermometric titration, the temperature change during a chemical reaction is used for the endpoint detection. This temperature change takes place only while the titrant reacts with the analyte. This makes endpoint detection very easy!
Consequently, the thermometric titrator is the ideal solution for difficult samples with complex matrices that cannot be titrated potentiometrically.
